Hello everyone! How are you? I went to Hirado City in Nagasaki to meet my relatives. This city is quite a long way from Tokyo. It took 5 hours to arrive at Hakata City in Fukuoka by Shinkansen and 4 hours to get Hirado City by car from Hakata. It was so long trip for me.
By the way, we saw the sights of Hirado. For example the Castle of Hirado, the Saint Joseph church and so on. Then, we met my grandmother on my father's side for the first time in five years. We heard she was ill for long time so we worried about her physical condition. It is hard to go to Hirado City but I want to go there much more times to meet her.

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you fly to Fukuoka? You must have been really tired when you got there. But I guess you had a good visit with your family. What good things did you eat there?
Did you do any sightseeing in Fukuoka while you were in Kyushu?
It must have been hot, but surely not hotter than Tokyo --- it was an oven here.

I have been to Kyusyu for sightseeing.

ReplyDeleteActually, it's quicker to go by plane. However my mother is afraid of taking a plane, so we didn't chose it.
By the way I ate good sushi and sashimi for dinner at my relatives's home. The diches were very delicious! Then, to tell the truth, we didn7t go sightseeing at all in Fukuoka because we were in a hurry to go to Hirado City.
