Blog#7: Inter College In Yamaguchi

Ryota Yamada

Last week I went to Yamaguchi to take part in All Japan University Softball Championship  we call "intercollegiate".
And it was the first time I use an airplane,so I was very excited. After arriving at Yamaguchi I was relieved because there is no acccident.
Look at this photo!
This is the photo which was taken in opening ceremony. We are in second from left.

The first game's opponent is International Pacific University (IPU) which is the defending champion. And they have Japan national team pitcher. His name is Shimada.
The ball he throw is about 120km. In baseball, softball's 120km deserve about 160km.

You can see his pitching this movie.
So our team lost in the first game.
But we got good experience. I want you to undergo the speed of "160km" in Batting center!

Blog#7: Return to my father's family home

Manami Hiramoto

Hello everyone! How are you? I went to Hirado City in Nagasaki to meet my relatives. This city is quite a long way from Tokyo. It took 5 hours to arrive at Hakata City in Fukuoka by Shinkansen and 4 hours to get Hirado City by car from Hakata. It was so long trip for me.

By the way, we saw the sights of Hirado. For example the Castle of Hirado, the Saint Joseph church and so on. Then, we met my grandmother on my father's side for the first time in five years. We heard she was ill for long time so we worried about her physical condition. It is hard to go to Hirado City but I want to go there much more times to meet her.

Blog#7: My memory of Sight

Yuki Morita
Hello, friends! Do you enjoy this summer vacation? By the way, what is your best sight or scene you have ever experienced?
I went to a driving school in Tottori to obtain a license in July. The training camp took 14 days, so I stayed there for almost two weeks. Have you ever been to Tottori? It was a heart-warming town. Compared with Tokyo, it is inconvenient in Tottori. There are few big stores. There is little traffic. Of course, it was an empty town, but many people are kind, and they are easygoing.
Tottori is famous for Tottori Sand Dunes (Tottori Sakyu). It was so large just like foreign countries! The Sea of Japan (Nihon-kai) was clear blue, it was very beautiful. However, I love Tottori Sand Dunes in the evening. When I took driving lessons on the public street first, it was evening. We drove along the sea and Sand Dunes. The sun set and sea glittered beautifully. I can't foreget the scene!
If you visit there, I want you to visit there in the evening. The scene will keep in your mind surely!

Blog#8:My trip

Yuto Yamazaki
I went to Nagano with my family for two days. I had a good time.
First, I ate an ice cream which was made of Shirakaba's milk. This ice cream was better taste than other ice creams in Tokyo.
Second, I went to the musium of Utsukusigaharakougen and saw a lot of arts. After I saw them, I ate Shinsyu soba which was very famous. It's taste was great! This photo was taken at Yashimagahara wetland. There were many creatures. For example, frogs, dragonflies, butterfies and so on.  The view was very beautiful! This trip excited me!
