Hello everyone! Now I take part in a volunteer activity at an elementary school in my hometown. Actually I would go to this school named the Honan elementary school . Then I belong to the support office since this April. The office doesn’t consist of teachers or students’ parents. It consists of only volunteers. But we work in close cooperation with teachers and parents, of course. We do something to help school activities. For example, we worked as staffs in a bazaar which was hold by students’ parents.
Then we hold some extracurricular classes for student such as a calligraphy lesson and an arithmetic class for students who dislike it. The students can take the lessons for free. I take part in the arithmetic class as an assistant teacher. Last Saturday, I gave a lesson to students with other staffs who are also undergraduates. I was very nervous before the class but it went off well.
By the way I like my students; they are so cute and full of vitality. And I can get precious experience for me. So I want to continue this volunteer.

ReplyDeleteWow, I was heard of the details of your volunteer activity for the first time. It sounds fun! I don't do any volunteer activities now, so I respect you! I was interested in calligraphy lessons very much, because we don't have any lessons in my college. Please continue the activity and tell me about your effort!

This is a great opportunity for you to help others. And it seems that you enjoy being with these young kids. Do you have any younger brothers or sisters?

Why not take some photos of them so you can remember them too?

Thank you for your comment, Ms.MacGregor. Actually, I have two sisters. One sister is a senior in college and the other is a high school student; she is sixteen years old. I love them! And I try to take some photos with these childrens when I will meet them next time.

I want to become a junior high school and high school teacher. Before I entered Gakushuin university, I thought to become elementary school teacher. But, I was rejected Gakugei university. So, I decided to become other teacher. I'm envied you your activity!

I dislike calligraphy lessons too. So I would often cut the class as a stomachache .
